Brain Fingerprinting!!!!!!!!! Detection spot!!!!!!!!!
What is brain fingerprinting?
Brain electrical oscillation signature profiling is a method of interoogation where the suspect's participation in the crime is investigated by studying the brain's response.
A neuro-psychological method of interrogation in which the suspects participation in the crime is investigated by studying the brain's response.
To check the activity and triggering of neuron's in the suspect's brain which then generate brainwaves due to documents shown to the suspect which are related to the case.
What is P300?
The P300 is a compnent of the event-related brain potential (ERP) . It means that the response is electrically positive (P) and has a latency of at least 300 ms (300)
What is P300-MERMER?
P300-MERMER is a memory and encoding related multifaceted electroencephalographic response. It comes along with the head gear. P300 is based on oddball paradigm.
MERMER- Memory and Encoding Related Multifaceted Electroencephalographic response.
Detection of brain waves due to guilt:
Different coloured lines: Red - (Theta) - Information is expected to know; Green - (Alpha) - Information not to suspect; Blue- (Beta) Information of the crime that only perpetrator would know.
The test is based on two phenomenons: Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge: The suspect's brain might have knowledge about the crime committed and the alibi they have come up with.
Experience: The suspect's experience of having participated in the crime determines the guilt.
* When brain fingerprinting was first used?
Dr.Farwell conducted a Brain Fingerprinting test on murder suspect- A woodcutter named James Grinder confessed murdering a woman named Julie Helton. The test proved that the record stored in Grinder's brain matched the scene of the murder of the Julie Helton.
It is a computer based technology designed to determine hidden information in individual's brain by measuring electrical brain wave responses to words, phrases, or pictures presented on a computer screen.
